The SMART project was presented at the Erasmus+ CBHE Projects Fair organized during Europe days

In the context of the celebration of Europe Day, Alecu Russo Balti State University (USARB) organized from 9 to 25 May 2021, activities focused on messages of solidarity, promotion of freedom and peace, facilitating the understanding by young students of how the European Community governs through unity, respect for Human Rights and plenary support of the Republic Of Moldova, in general, and USARB, in particular. The SMART project was presented at the sixth edition of the Erasmus+ CBHE Projects Fair, on May 19, 2021.


The Erasmus+ CBHE Projects Fair, the sixth edition, was visited by students, teachers, university administration, senior representatives of the EU Delegation in Moldova, ambassadors of EU member states.

Valentina PRIȚCAN, vice-rector for scientific activity and international relations, presented the Erasmus + SMART project, implemented with the participation of USARB EU ambassadors, arrived in USARB:

· His Excellency Peter MICHALKO, head of the European Union Delegation in Chisinau;

· Her Excellency Anna LYBERG, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to the Republic Of Moldova;

· His Excellency Bartlomiej ZDANIUK, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic Of Moldova;

· His Excellency Pascal LE DEUNFF, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in the Republic Of Moldova;

· His Excellency Stanislav KAZECKY, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in the Republic Of Moldova;

· His Excellency Diego RANDAZZO, deputy head of mission, Italian Embassy in the Republic Of Moldova;

· His Excellency Petrișor DUMITRESCU, Consul General of Romania in Balti.


Visitors benefited from promotional materials, received answers to questions, knew the specifics of the SMART project, in which USARB is a partner.

After getting acquainted with the CBHE projects, implemented by USARB, the EU Talks event took place, during which the USARB academic community had a unique opportunity to maintain an open dialogue with EU ambassadors, elucidated investments in strengthening the university's capacities, including through SMART project.
